Monday, the head of the coronavirus portfolio at the Ministry of Health Wael Hayajneh discussed which groups are excluded from receiving the coronavirus vaccine in Jordan.
Hayajneh stressed that those groups include pregnant and lactating women, or those who intend to become pregnant within three months.
Additionally, those who have excessive and severe allergies which leads to shortness of breath, as well as those who suffer from severe fevers are excluded from receiving the vaccine.
On Feb. 4, the Kingdom's health directorates began administering the second dose of the coronavirus vaccine in Jordan, using the Pfizer-BioNTech and Sinopharm vaccines.
On Jan. 13, Jordan began its national vaccination campaign.
